What a WEEK it has been! My little
niece HK (Hanna Kate) turned 2 years old; I hosted my first BUNCO BABES dinner
party; and I was able to meet new people who I wouldn't have met if I wasn't a
REALTOR®. It was an exhausting, entertaining and en(rich)ing week for
Fre(rich)inLife.
Last Wednesday my sister and I both
got the chance to play hostess with the mostest. Emily started off the day with
a play date/birthday party for HK, all her friends and their mommies. These
moms get together with their toddlers once a week to play, so Em hosted it at
our house this week to celebrate our favorite human being born! I had a BLAST
watching all of the toddlers interact, and all the moms (and aunts) enjoyed
spending time together. The crowd favorite was definitely the bubble machine.

Later that evening it was my turn to
host! A bunch of our friends from HK's playgroup along with a few friends from
my hometown, bible study, and real estate adventures came out to enjoy a ladies
night out. We had the back room reserved at a Mexican restaurant here in New
Braunfels where we ate and then put our game faces on for Bunco. I wish the
inside jokes would transfer into text as funny as they were in person, but you definitely
had to be there. If you want in on the fun let me know and I'll have a giant,
slightly obnoxious name tag ready for ya for next month!
Thanks for saving this memory, Kameron! |
The rest of the week was a mix of
birthday celebrations with family and real estate hustle.
Moving
to New Braunfels was risky. Becoming a REALTOR® was even riskier. Both have
challenged me to go out, make friends, and MEET PEOPLE like never before. I know I wouldn't have created this Bunco group and I wouldn't be cherishing the connections/friends I've made through my sister if it weren't for this new gig. When
I was a toddler there was not a shy bone in my body, but as I grew older,
something changed. I believe we all have different personalities that come out
with different people and at different times in our lives. This place, this
career and these people are helping me to become the BEST version of myself. I don't know what the future has in store, but right now I'm pretty thankful for Birthdays and Bunco.
